Desert Biking Adventures is the original guided desert mountain and cross-country biking tour in this part of the Southwest. Established in 1992 we have shared bikeseeing™ adventures with people from all 50 states and more than 30 countries and territories. We are proud to say that almost half of our business is repeat visitors and enthusiastic referral from those who have taken our bikeseeing™ tours.

We believe there is no better way to enjoy the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. We guide small groups to provide a fun, easy-to-challenging bikeseeing™ adventure. We generally limit the number of riders to a maximum of seven.

Small groups provide a more personal and enjoyable desert biking experience. All biking is on established trails, roads and stock and wildlife trails. Large groups conflict with our core values of personal safety and preservation of the fragile desert ecosystem.

Mountain trails and roads are easy to moderate in difficulty but can offer some challenges. The amount and level of mountain biking you do will depend on the skill , desire and comfort level of the individual. Seventy to 85% of the ride will be downhill unless you choose the uphill option. A portion of the ride may be on easy downhill paved, part of what is considered one of the best road bike rides in Arizona. The particular route will be determined after reviewing the ability and desires of your group.

You need not be an expert biker but must have basic riding skills and be able to mount, dismount and safely control a mountain bike. Your guide will provide a safety briefing and orientation to biking in the Sonoran Desert.

Along the way there are many photo opportunities so be sure to bring your camera. We provide the mountain bikes, helmets and biking gloves. Our mountain bikes are 21-speed rapid-fire shift with fork shocks. There is always a telephone-equipped support vehicle with you, which carries plenty of drinking water.
